I've spent nearly 20 years in the wine and spirits industry while raising our family and picking up new hobbies along the way.
Life is full and little by little I've grown and learned new things. I'm most passionate about my family, baking bread, gardening/homesteading and wine.
Background
I've spent nearly 20 years in the wine and spirits industry while raising our family.
My first introduction into the wine and spirits industry was working at a fine dining restaurant, first as a hostess then as a waitress. I then spent a short time working at a large liquor store in the area. This is where I first heard about wine certifications (other than sommelier). I was quickly recruited to work at a local Texas winery start up where I learned a lot about small business. I ended my corporate career after 12 years in sales at a large wine & spirits distributor.
